The Idea

Every life is a story worth telling.

The places that shaped us. The people we’ve loved. The moments that changed everything.

We sit down with someone special for a relaxed, thoughtful conversation about their life — capturing their memories, their character and the way they see the world, in their own words.

Then we turn it into a beautifully made film: something to watch together now, and to treasure for generations to come.

How It Works

A simple process, start to finish.

Step One

We get to know them.

Ahead of the day we ask for a brief history of the person; where they grew up, their job, their early life and what they have been doing in their life so far.

Step Two

We sit down together.

A relaxed, filmed conversation in a place that means something to them — home, hometown, wherever feels right, with nods to the different chapters of their life so far. Whatever stories they have to tell, we have the time to hear them.

Step Three

We tell their story.

A 10–15 minute film, woven from stills of the house they grew up in and the streets that meant something to them, alongside photos from across their life. We look at where things stand today too — who their family is now, how it feels looking back, and what matters most to them — with a few funny moments along the way. Delivered on a Your Life USB in a matt keepsake box.

Our Story

From primetime to your family's front room.

For years, we’ve been telling other people’s stories on screen, making some of the UK’s best-known factual, documentary and entertainment programmes, including The Voice UK, Gladiators and MasterChef.

Along the way, we realised something: it's not just the people chosen for TV who deserve to have their story told. It's everyone. So we've combined our equipment and our skillset to give any family the chance to have a film that lasts forever — one that shows future generations not just who their relatives were, but who they really were: their character, the way they spoke, the way they laughed.

Our Equipment

Cine cameras and professional lighting on every interview.

The interview is shot on two Sony FX6 cameras with G Master and Sigma lenses. It is lit with two Godox softbox lights (60W and 100W).

We also have a Sony FX3 camera for B-roll, with a Ronin RS4 gimbal.
